thank you, and yea that was pretty freaky, kinda on the scary side, maybe I should have said something like, I don't know just different, I mean I am an old married woman now, my birthday is on the 25th I'll be 30, (can't wait for that :eek: )

Don't worry; lots of people will ask for modifications...that's why occasionally I make the request on the board that people be as descriptive as possible; if I'm behind, and you give me a free pass on creativity, I can't come back right away and change things for you while others are waiting--not being mean, but it just isn't fair to them, is it?
So, although sometimes that situation turns out great (like KingOmar and Ninoid's) most of the times, for me anyway, it's turned out to not quite match up with something the owner would like.
So, again, to everybody, please be as detailed as you can possibly be if you want your wallpaper to look a certain way. Otherwise, just enjoy the creator's creativity and make an entry at the end of the thread for a different one :D

Hey Nugo. I got a new phone a PM-325. i haven't had the problems other people have complained about with this phone (YAY!) and i'd like a couple of wallpapers for my new phone if you can find the time. I like the yellow one you made for Melissa that's in cursive and looks like its on water. Can you make one with a dark green background that says: "Joybelle". also I'd like one with a fire or flames background that says Joy or Joybelle.

Alright, sometimes less is more in biznass, so I kept it clean; I have a wallpaper for you that is 1024x768 of this, and in that, the halo is less "high" over the S. I had to scrunch this up from the sides because it was disproportionate. In the Wpp, there is a 5-band green line across the top and it's easier to see the vertical background mauve band in it too, but not so easy that it's distracting. K, bout to pass out, dead....

Anybody have any idea why there are sizing issues with the LG 325? When somebody sends them at 128 x 160 (according to faq reference) or with the Focus resize for the phone, part of the bottom gets chopped off and/or covered up

i sent a ss to my phone - 325 - with the image resized to fit a 680 and i got it all. nothing cut off or covered by the bars at the bottom of the 325. maybe this will help in the resizing dimensions.

I was wondering and by all means no hurry at all a week if you need it. My friend at work just got the 7400. His 1st time with Sprint. I showed him my cool wallpapers and even sent a couple of the incoming ones to his phone from Sprint Focus. His computer is down right now but if you could make a couple with his name Brandon on it I would appreciate it. He likes Soccer and just got a silver Mistubishi Eclipse and also we like U of L cardinals basketball. One that says Call From with Rose on it would be cool too.. I know you have lots ahead and I am asking for too many so I will wait as long as it takes. I have plenty for my phone but he is loving his phone so much once he sees these I am sure he will donate. sorry...I changed my mind after looking at some of your past wallpapers. Awhile back I saw that you had the word MAC in chrome lettering. Thought that was cool. Could you do the MILLER TIME in chrome. As for background blue probably won't look to great so whatever you feel looks good would probably be fine. I was thinking a black but so far you have proven that your artistic taste is great. again thanks. hope this change doesnt screw you up too much.

Exactly; then I save any clips of the phones in basically a wallpaper clipart folder, to be inserted into new wallpapers or whatever. It's usually easy enough to do with the magic wand or the magnetic lasso, but occasionally you have to do it the old fashioned way...I usually cover up some of my trimming flaws with either a smooth (under layers), a blur, but most effectively, a bevel with shadows.

I was subscibed to the thread but for some reason I hadn't been getting any e-mails and I didn't know why. Then I got one last night and it said something about If you don't visit this forum again you will not receive anymore replies I don't know. But when I got the reply last night I went back several pages and found one that said Brandon which was cool with a player on it. But now that U of L is in the NCAA Final Four and I am going to St. Louis this weekend to party I would like one that says something about Final Four 2005 and maube with a Louisville Cardinal on it. I have to pictures of the bird but don't know how to upload it to here. Your work is just so amazing. I love it!!! And will be glad to donate again. Thanks, Rose

Hey Brett, as far as I know, Sanyo's wallpapers need to be in portrait mode (the length and width are switched--i.e., 132x176). Just a little note.

Yeah B-dawg you can find handset sizes here (http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37422); just remember that the bigger number is usually the height, because the number system/order in the above link is not consistent.

I'm new to this forum but wondering if someone could make me one that is a black background with Acura in either silver/platinum or whatever color they think would stand out. And if you could let me know about donating to this cuz you guys do great things with simple things for all of us that don't know s**t. Plus I'm sure I'll eventually want more of these and to me nothing is free. Thnx to whoever does this and gives me the info I need. And how do I get them on my phone? :)

To send these to your phone, download them onto your PC and send them through the focus tool. Select your phone from the "resize image" dropdown for a smaller a filesize on your phone, or leave that option alone if you want to retain the full quality of the wallpaper.

Wow I am impressed. Thank you so much!! I have to see if I still have my pay pal account only used it twice ever. I love the NCAA one it is too cool. Can I ask you though If I am sending through focus and picking my phone do I use the big one or the small one or does it matter since I am sizing it down to my phone. Which one is better to do. Did you get this taken care of? You want to send the smaller one; it's higher quality; I show the bigger one for detail but it's actually at a lower qual. due to file size restrictions. I need to get this stuff in a sticky cuz lots of people have this same question, so HINT HINT maybe Dave will hook me up :D

Just a reminder to everybody; Flip and Brett are taking donations too. I haven't recieved a donation in probably the last 25 wallpapers I've made, and I guess I can survive it, but when I see these other people working hard too I get heart-broken. You pay like $2.95 for a basic wallpaper (if you really like it and you couldn't find a good, free alternative) at Sprint or whatever, and here you're getting somebody focused on you, on your name, on your interests, who will actually correct any misunderstandings for you.
In addition, I presume Flip and Brett will also share their donations with SU like I do, since SU is letting us take the donations (which is basically a no-no). I send about 40% of whatever I get back to this site to try to help with expenses for the fantastic service we're all getting for free.
Summary; reach deep into your pockets and find a few bucks...not for every request, but just once in a while, so we can keep more artists around to give you more choice. You're helping us, your helping SU.com, and you're getting a kickass product in return. Not a bad deal. Having said all that--yeah, we'll still do them for free :lol:

You can always go back and redo some requests....nobody minds having alternate versions...I usually do that especially for those that have donated

Ok Thanks!!! When I saved the 2 pics to my desktop I changed the name. But since the URL from Focus wouldn't work until the next day I just chose one message out of the few and deleted the others. I wanted to see the difference of each and see the difference if I didn't actually pick my phone size but since the 1st one I got to download looked so good I just deleted the others. But ok I will find out how to reinstate my paypal and donate now. Cause if my team wins I may want one more that says Nations Champs hee hee. I'm going to St. Louis on Saturday just till Sunday to party. Tomorrow is payday so I will try to donate before I leave if not it will be when I get back for sure. Thanks Again, Rose

i just had the best thought for a walpaper (im such a dork for thinging of this) and i would be eternally greatful if someone could do this for me...i want a wallpaper with the x-men i would like them to be using their powers with my name on it (Jake) and i would like as many x men as possible but please include: cyclops, storm, and rouge...i would also like them to be in the cartoon style, cyclops will have a blue suit with some yellow, storm will be in white, and rouge in green and yellow...(those are just the main colors of their costumes) sorry for all the details but this would make my life if someone could do this for me! Thanks guys. Most of my effort was put towards Cyclops' electric beam... I started with a plain old solid red line... :eek: But Nugo's right, it's a little too loud to be usable... just wanted to master a new "technique". I'm officially addicted to PS.

Easy, I didn't. :hee: The only things I modified from the original picture are the text, the red beam, and a few color/saturation settings. As much as I'd like to take full credit for the stupendous artwork, everything else you see is the work of Marvel Comics (or whoever).
