In general, I'm going to be able to average about 2-3 wallpapers per night (some nights none, some six, some four, etc.) so you can kind of schedule when you'll return to find yours based on that.

The 132x160 I used above is the standard for the 8200 and it will also work for sub; it resizes... I don't actually know the font... If you decided I can help you though give a holler

I'm not sure why you would want them big, but I need to at least get the percentages of width/height correct so that they retain their appearance on shrinkage (vs. getting "wider" or "taller" and possibly throwing off lighting effects and lowering quality).

So, I will make these for your phone, and for the a600 and 8100 but at twice the actual screen size, unless you tell me differently (and I have to be careful on that as well because there is an upload limitation [file size] on this site).

Sorry I didn't get into detail; you need some program that will allow you to convert the .bmp to a .jpg, .jpeg, or .gif or whatever and alot of programs aren't powerful enough. I used Adobe Photoshop... almost any "image editing" program will have the capability, but not "image viewers" GL

heheh, drag out the edges and make it rounded. I forget exactly how it works in PS but Flash does a great job of rounding things if you use the line tool. I'll show you some stuff i made in pure flash tomorrow I need some sleep.

Yeah I know how to round in PS and I'm used to the vector based formats in Flash, which is a very clean program, but it's almost too perfect; think south park vs. japanimation; I vote for a tinge of reality through flaw.

Thanks again for your donation (and as a general reminder, I publicly thank everybody in the "trading post (http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=33)" forum [more for business stuff] that donates to me) and your question is a good one.

I put the larger images up to show you detail; or, maybe you want them to print out or whatever... I actually have to lower the quality on them to fit them on this site at that larger size because the file size is too large (I think there is a 35kb limitation or something close to that). So, I post one to show you the detail, albeit lower quality, then I post the actual one that you will use on your phone. My pictures are large in file size to show full detail; if you download them to your computer before using Focus, you can manipulate them as you like (sacrifice quality if you like, in another program, in order to save memory on your phone).

I make them twice the handset size because it's easy to shrink a pic and retain quality, but just try to make a small pic larger whilst retaining quality... gets all yucky and blocky.

Keep your eyes on the forum, because when I'm caught up, I usually go back and do more for my donaters :D

Yep you got it; send the small one. Donations are pretty dang slow, but I started this for free just like Poorlyduck did. Then I did a poll/survey to find out the feasability of accepting donations, and it looked ok. I got permission from the site owner, under the condition that I share a fair portion of my donations with Sprintusers.com (I share between 30-50%; haven't done the average yet).

Well it's already 176 by 220... to make it 176 by 176 is only to make it shorter and not change the width at all.... :confused:
