Hi All -

I currently have a Samsung i330 and use it to connect my laptop to the Internet via SprintPCS Vision. I've just ordered a Treo 600 and am wondering if I need to order a special cable for connection to the laptop for the same type of functionality. Or will the hotsync cable that comes with the Treo serve this required function.

Any and all assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

U dont need a special cable. You do however need a small program called PDAnet.

U can download it from several sites. Costs about 35.00...more or less.

I just bought my TREO 650 and this is my first PDA. This thing is great in a lot of ways. I really wanted to get the MS Mobile 2003 operating system. However, everyone claims the Palm is the way to go. Treo is the only PDA/phone sold by every cell phone company.

Okay this is the deal. PDA Net works great and my computer is flying. Now I have used all the other phones and no come close to the Treo 650 speed.

What's cool about the PDANet software is I do not have to hit #777 on my computer. I hit this icon on the Treo and seconds its ready to go. Its easier to log onto the computer with the treo than any other phone using USB.
I saved the best for last. PDANet for the Treo 650 is in Beta and the software at the moment.
