Currently I have the $15 PCS Vision Picture pack and I have no need for the $5 service credit each month so I was wondering if I switch to the PCS Vision Picture pack without the credit, will that remove my unlimited SMS that I also currently have?

i recently was offered the $10 vision and was assured REPEATEDLY that i would not lose my unlimited SMS text messaging. the customer care rep even allegedly "noted my account."

of course, when i saw my next bill, i was limited to 100 SMS. it was a struggle and took 3 calls, but i called and got my $15 vision plan back w/unlimited SMS.

Is it me or is Sprint telling people different things? I was told that when SMS was initially introduced to Sprint that they gave people unlimited SMS but after a certain date (which I cannot recall right now) that everyone no matter what they had will only get 100 SMS outgoing messages per month (I think there is no limit on the amount you can receive) and if you exceed that you will pay whatever their rate is. However, I have seen so many posts about people hoping they don't lose their unlimited SMS. Do you actually have unlimited what is the most messages you have had in a month.

Basically, the older vision codes were "hardcoded" with unlimited SMS...older meaning $10 codes, and some $15 codes from a certian date. I think the cut-off was in Feb or March. So if you had those codes in your account, you were ok.

Side note, my account shows up as unlimited, and I have used about 1500 or so SMS messages this last cycle.

I've had the UL Vision with the $10 credit on my account for about the past year and a half and have the UL SMS and UL Picturemail. I don't usually even use games and such on my phone untill recently with my new 8200. but either way even if I don't use the $10 credit it doesn't bother me because I use SMS and the picturemail enough to make up for it.

What is all this that I hear about 5 and 10 dollar credits? I just feel like Im missing a little something. I guess i just want to know if there is any other cool discounts I could be getting on my plan...

right now my plan is:
300 anytime minutes,
unlimited nights and weekends staring at 7,
unlimited vision,
unlimited web messages (which I hope means SMS when I get a new phone)
unlimited pcs to pcs.
I pay 35 for the plan, 5 for the nights starting at 7, 15 for my vision, and i get a 5 percent "PCS courtesy discount" as well as the 10 percent volume base discount.

Any insight?

Today when I had a issue I called and when I got done I was offered $10 Vision with a $5 download credit and Free Vision on my AAP. Seemed kinda hokey to me but if if ends up being that way Im not worried cause I had the regualr $15 they currently sell so i can switch back. But has anyone heard of this vision pack?

If you had vision on your account before 2/3/4 no matter what phone you have you are grandfathered into unlimited SMS as long as you don't change your vision plan ... yes that means if your plan includes vision as part of the plan code and want to change rate plans ... and it takes away your vision ... your unlimited sms will be gone as well ...
