So, should I be concerned that my new samsung A680 is constantly showing 1 bar and sometimes even 2 bars lower in signal strength then my old sanyo 8100 in my house? I know one person on here said this in response to my question before about this problem "Your old Sanyo is configured to give you a false reading on signal strength, giving you a false sense of how strong the signal really is." Is that quote a correct quote or should I be concerned that something is wrong with my new samsung?
Please if I can get some help on this I would really be thankful,
Thanks again.

i wouldnt worry about it.... i had the A620 and it ALWAYS showed 1 or 2 bars..... but i NEVER dropped calls....
That qoute is correct, and there is nothing worng with your new a680. The 8100 would show full signal in a tunnel 3 miles underground.

No don't worry about it. In my apartment I only get 1 bar and sometimes 2 if i am near the window. However, my calls are still clear with no breaking up. I have had better results in call quality with 1 bar on the 680 than I had with other phones with full signal bars.

You are fine. You're phone is working the way it should. I get a single bar inside my home and have never dropped a call with the A680. Calls sound very clear almost all the time with uncommon occasions of short choppiness or static.

I was just wondering... I just got the 680, I upgraded from a 620, but I was wondering If I were to use my phone as a modem on my laptop, will I get any extra charges from Sprint buy doing so?
thanks,
a.j.

More than likely no... it's been reported that they'll notice it if you've used almost a gig of data a month. For more info, check the Vision forum, or do a :search:
