This is probably my next phone. Don't need a camera, don't need a flip. Don't need to spend more than 300 Bucks. Can't wait to see it in person. If its well built and bug free, i'll pay up.

Yes, starting with the 8200. You must have missed all the other threads where this was discussed. ;)

according to a card I got at RS, yes, it is $150 with 2 years, and $100 with 1 year.

But I am on a $29.99 plan so will not qualify for any rebate unless I upgrade.

The 65K colors seems to be the standard in Sanyo's latest phones...

Waiting for a release date and a review. :eyebrow:

When the page was up on SPCS, the price was $219.99. Pretty good deal if you qualify for the $150 rebate... :D

Those 50 minutes probably can be used in Call Screening... Thats great compared to my 72 seconds for call screening.

haha, i could use those 50 mins to record a CD... that way i could have my favorite songs on my phone (although the quality would be piss poor)

I'm hoping for a good earpiece and a full duplex speaker phone. Blue LEDs for the keypad wouldn't hurt either.

I've been anxiously awaiting this phone. It's nice to finally know it is actually thinner than the 4900. Now if only Telesales is right about the 5/16/04 sale date posted earlier. Two of my reports say June. Hopefully this will meet my expectations.

Cameras aren't that big of a deal with me even though i have a phone that has one. But i do have to admit every once in a while (and i mean every once in a while) the cameras come in handy.

Well I just got the 8200 coming from a 4900. I wasn't suppose to get my upgrade till June 1st. I said I was getting a few dropped calls lately more than usual so they let me slide 2 weeks early. But the lady told me they uusually don't do this and how so many people get the phone then turn around and say oh this new phone came out I like it better I want it now. Well I was going to wait for the 4920 since my 4900 is so great recpetion and battery. But I really wanted a flip phone so I went with the 8200. I don't care about the camera but yes it's fun to have. And I wont use ready link.

But now after actually seeing real specs 5.5 battery wow. It is a cute little phone. I would love to hold one in my hand. I heard it wasn't coming out till June. I am still in my 14 days and love my 8200 but did have one problem today with a call I couldn't understand. I don't know if it was on her end or my muffled earpiece that everyone is talking about. I am sure I will keep my 8200 I love the blue and the speakerphone works well. I called Sprint from it and had it sitting on my desk in front of me and it worked really well. But the 4920 will be a big hit I bet. Rose

It is a nice phone isn't it!!! To me especially coming from the 4900. But I did want a flip for a change and really like the 8200 and the bigger screen. But this looks like it's going to be a great phone. It's cuter then my 4900. Rose

So michelle are you ready to ditch your 8200 yet and go for a 4920? I hope it has a better sounding earpiece than the 8200 does.

I wish they would hurry up and make it availiable. I've got a 6 week old RL7300 that reboots about 3-5 times a day. I am going to try to get a 4920 to replace it.

Agreed. The current Sanyo flips sound terrible, but their older candybars sounded pretty decent.

My RL2000 (7200) sounds like crap. Worse than the 5500 my wife has.
