Seems that F****Dial stormtropers ordered my EBay listing for a TP5250 data cable & CrapSync CD (proper legal copy) to be terminated. The CrapSync updates are so out of date, it would probably be a year before my new Kyocera SE47 was supported, so I was just attempting to sell it. Be warned if you do purchase the lame F****Dial software that it probably will not support your next phone, and if you try to sell or give away the POS, the F****Dial Nazis will come stomping!

To the orignal poster...I bought the Snapsync/Futuredial cable and software for the A600. I recently bought the A680 and within 2 weeks of the A680 release they had the driver/software download posted. They might release yours sooner than later.

Oh yes, our wonderful "comedian" Seinfeld and his "Soup Nazi." I personally never really liked the Seinfeld show and I was particulalry offended by that episode. Throwing the term around easily or using it in jokes in my opinion devalues the lives that were taken by Nazis. If you make it an everyday term, it sort of adds an air of legitimacy to the term. I find it offensive and you may not be able to understand why until you put yourself in my shoes. See, I can look at my family tree and I can see where the branches were severed so to speak.

I wonder if the thread starter or you have ever been to Dachau or any of the other infamous prison camps? It amazes me how many times I have heard younger generations claim that the atrocities and the deaths were all exxagerated by the jews. That it was no where near as bad as everyone claims.

Let me tell you a little story. In 1976 when I was seven, my family had a major reunion. Family members came from all over the world including some very distant cousins. About 300 people showed up. One of them was a great uncle. While talking to this great uncle, I noticed he had a tattoo on his arm and I enquired about it. All of the adults over the age of 45 became silent. He then told me his holocaust story. My knowledge of the the holocause and Nazis comes directly from someone who survived it. Not some history book that has toned down the violence, racsim and actvities to be politically correct. Had world war II of never have happened, had the Nazis not taken control of Germany, fully another 250 - 300 people would have shown up for this reunion. Think about that for a second. The Nazis were responsible for systematically degrading, torturing and murdering half my ancestors. Kinda cheapens it in my opinion when you compare that to someone who refuses to serve you soup or argues that your petty ebay auction should be cancelled.

The software agreement prevents the software from being transfered:

"If the product is advertised as used or Previously Registered, its license is generally not transferable (as dictated by the EULA). Any attempt to resale or transfer the product is prohibited."

Too bad you have to open the package, and start installing the software before you can read the EULA

Hmm.. Godwin's law should have discontinued this thread by now (I never liked such simplified laws. Attempts to make everything seem nice & neat!) And since I already paid for something I am prevented from selling, I have already lost!

As far as being offensive, that's just a relative matter of sensitivity. Some words can set folks over the edge while others hardly notice. (I loved that soup Nazi episode!). The atrocities of mankind cannot be simply cheaped by the use of a word. The real threat is when the schools are beaten down to soften up the edges of the past and to make sure not to offend anyone with such horrible facts of the past (I was in grade school way before this sort of foolishness started).

On the lighter side, I was a Sprint customer for the last 6 years before changing to Verizon due to my new location (bad Sprint reception) and Sprint always treated me great. Never experienced some of the horror stories I have read about here. I just hated their commercials (very offensive!)

I'm gonna have to agree with you on that one. If I were to take offense at all of the murders, rape, pilaging that happened to my family I'd completely hate everyone. My family was one of the many Native Americans that had to run from the government to avoid being put in a Reservation, when in reality they were just stealing the land and putting the Natives in a small piece of property.

I'm still trying to get SnapSync to work with my Samsung A700 phone. So far, the software bombs out whenever I try to upload more than FIVE contacts to my phone. A level 2 tech support rep is supposed to try and help me in about an hour. And yes, I've downloaded the latest drivers, etc.

So if I can't get CrapSync to work with my phone, I'm stuck with something I can't return and can only hope to get paid scrap value from a CD recycling facility (if such facility even exists)?!?
