I went to my local store and there is a change in the low plan. Now offering F&F for $35, and the 300 plan is gone.

I don't think it is worth it. I pay $40 for my 500min plan, and under that new plan, it's $55 [if I use that much]. Nonetheless, I only pay $36 a month including taxes anyway. :D

The basic argument is about a gamble; time control on the phone, if you will. Say you go over by 120 minutes one month, so you used 620 minutes. You've paid $40 (theoretically, in your case) + $0.40 x 120 = $88.00 total.
With Fair & Flexible, you would have paid $67.50 (no extras included in either total)
On the other hand, use 480 mins, you pay $40.00 (only wasting 20 mins, cuz it never gets used and there's no rollover) with your plan but Fair & Flexible costs $55.00.
So, in a word, the Fair & Flexible plan offers "insurance," against excessive overage costs. The end.
In my case, Fair & Flexible makes perfect sense. I believe I won't go over 300 minutes (I have 7pm, and FCA) but if something comes up, I'm not going to change my plan to get more minutes, doing a contract renewal or whatever, and paying 40 cents per minute for anything is just abrasive, in my opinion.
I want it to adjust, under the basic premise that I probably will use less than 300 plan minutes, but I might have something come up, and in my opinion, if something comes up, I'm probably going to go way over 300 minutes, not just a few over.
Works for me. :D
I cant see how f&f will work for me tho, b/c my wife and I are on the same plan, and if you look at our average useage of 850 minutes, its still at least 20$ more than we are paying now. And if we go over the average, it gets more expensive. Im sticking with F&CA

hehe, does everyone work at sprint to get the discounts( reading other people sigs )? Or work at a retailer that sells sprint phones? :)
