What are the chances of a Sanyo slider?

Curious as to what the chances of us getting a Sanyo slider-type phone? This year, next year, anytime soon? Ever since I saw the concept model I have wanted one. I've also read rumors about that being the 9xxx series lineup. Anyone have any info?

so tempted to buy that. I Could only afford 5 short phone calls a month, lol

1.10/min for outgoing calls and 1.31/min for incoming calls. yikes.

I never really liked sliders that much. That is untill today when my friend from Verizon had a slider phone. I must say that it was pretty darn sexy. His didn't let you use the phone unless it was slid open even though the d-pad was on the outside but besides that I think it was pretty good from what I saw. Sprint definatly needs to add on to it's line-up.

I'd love to see sanyo make a flip that is as small as a 680 but gets the reception of a 4920. Is this geometrically possible?
