My guess is probably a v1660 (basic vision flip without a camera)

[I-ve] checked several ERP threads and trying to see if anyone knows of what is currently (recently) being sent out as replacement for SCH-8500. [Some] say the V1660, but since that is fairly recent addition to Sprint lineup, it seems like [they] should have plenty of the other "camera" phones to send out, yet, huh?

UPS man just dropped off a 5500 for a 8100 with a cracked outside led screen. I was specific when I talked to Lockline that I wanted a Sanyo phone to replace my Sanyo phone since the Samsung didn't have as good a reception. The 5500 was in the box sealed and...yes, when I dialed ##786, It showed 0 for both life timer and data and not a reconditioned phone. Awesome. Sometimes I love Sprint!!

Has anyone replaced their Sanyo 5300 with Lockline recently? If so, what replacement phone did they send?
Thanks! :D

i recently sent a 5300 to lockline and was sent an 8100. since that did not have a flash i sent it back after talking to them and they sent me a a620 i called them and also wrote them an email stating i wanted a sanyo phone to replace my sanyo phone and it had to have a flash and call screening so they called me back and asked what color i wanted red or blue? meaning what color 8200 i wanted and they sent me a brand new blue 8200(get this they said they were out of silver 8200 and only had red or blue) if you are not satisfied with the phone they send you all you need to do is call and email them and they will do their best to get you satisfied. it took a few weeks to send and receive the phones but i was satisfied with the end result

I'm aiming for a 5500....so I'll keep calling local sprint stores and lockline....do you think they really have 5300 in stock or do you think the saleswoman I got was just clueless?

Lock line goes with the most comparable model of your particular phone is not in stock. (In stock- refurbish, so there plenty more to come if not in now.) There is no way to tell what one you will be getting. They work off of a chart of comparability and in stock, and you get is what they have. It’s the same in the store if they don’t have your phone for warranty or T.E.P (total equipment replacement)
