I have been working on my traffic WAP site a little more, and have made some big improvements.
This only provides traffic information for the Seattle/Puget Sound area, but it is quite useful. I now have accident information, travel times, as well as color-coded traffic flow maps.
There is no need to pay for a traffic gauge, this page is free and should work on any vision phone (as well as other carriers since its just xhtml .. works on the 3650) :
http://nwrs.net/traffic/
This data makes extensive use of the existing www.wsdot.gov system, but reformats and parses for handset usage.
I also have a tower map (experimental) that puts Sprint's cool java tower interface into the palm of your hand. Only the seattle-metro area, but should be useful:
http://nwrs.net/coverage/
Its nothing too special, just a php app that lets you crop out a scrollable window across a giant image (jpeg or gif). If you want one of these for your geographic area, you can send it to me for hosting.
