It's amazing what ONE minute on google can do for you. Usually one would need to create a QCP ringer, but MIDIs, more often than not, can be found very easily on the web.

ok...this one is kinda tough...but here goes. the song is by a band called "jimmy eat world", sure u heard of them, the title of the song is "get it faster". that parts easy, hers comes the tricky part, there is a point in the song where it goes into a solo that is comprised mainly of d-bar power chords, but jumps back and fourth between high and low, the th bass and drums kink in on the second riff, that is what i want for a ringtone, it would be very much appreciated if u could do this for me...so thanks if you can.

zip is a compressed file. Go to http://www.winzip.com with your computer, that will give you a program to uncompress the .zip file. Once it is uncompressed you will have a .qcp file you can upload to your phone here: http://www.sprintusers.com/focus/

Man .. it's got a great screen 240x320 ... I think ... it's got a great speaker ... Fliptronic and I were talking audio chat ... we figured out that a ringer made to sound good on the Toshiba can be barely heard on others ... I think the Toshiba cranks out high volume ... and if there's bass in the ringer, it really sounds bad though ...

Can't really help you unless you're more specific about what you're doing.

QCPs should be no more than 50kb and 30 sec tops. By the time you changed the bitrate of an mp3, converted to wav, and cropped it to 30 seconds or less, the WAV file should be ~400kb. Then when you drag it to the PureVoice Converter (PVConv.exe, NOT PureVoice.exe) it should create a 30-50kb QCP file.

I'm not gonna go through the whole process step-by-step, because that's what the FAQ is for. Read over it again, make sure you follow EVERY step, and you shouldn't have any problems.

^Exactly. Windows XP, if you use it, comes with its own zip program too. Just open the .zip file, extract, send through Focus.
