You can't because it's a direct directory listing to the files. You can either copy and paste the direct URL to the file into a message sender and send it to your phone number or you can download, and upload the file to your cellphone using the file sender.

I just tried this out and it didn't work. When you say copy/paste the direct URL do you mean the URL of the whole directory? Or just the file I want to dl? So, I'm finding it harder and harder to use grokster every day. I think the record industry is finally getting its way.

The way the requests work is that you give me a song title or movie quote or whatever and I type it into GROKSTER. Of all the above posts since I left last weekend, the only ones I've found are Ludacris intro, Nirvana Lake of Fire, and saliva click click boom.

Everythin else I can't get to download on my computer. Therefore if you want me to create a ringer for you and I haven't found it yet, you'll have to give me an MP3 of it somehow and I'll make it into a ringer from there. Or, you can point me to where I can get it on the web.

Also, please be more specific on your requests. Request it as SONG TITLE, ARTIST ==> just as you would type it into a search. And the movie and tv show lines, I'm trying but those are the hardest.

I'll take a look in a bit.
Making a midi though, is much more difficult than taking an Mp3 and making the voice ringer. The only ways I know of making midis invole either composing the music on the computer by using a midi program to write notes on the staff (which it doesn't really do correctly, it doesn't have all the music notations properly) with a program called Noteworthy Composer, or maybe a midi keyboard could generate midis? Usually I think they export mp3s.

While I search, take a look on google for it. Type something like NFL on Fox Ringtone or NFL midis

Well right now DDN is the best site in my opinion...I know they have the latest ringers ...I know because I make and upload a large percentage of them....You are certainly entitled to your opinion but for 2 or 3 dollars a month their site is the best or 15 dollars for a year.....But you can always wait until sprint has the ringer and pay $2.50 and get it creditted back on your bill and hope your phone doesnt get lost because after the 90 day period the content is erased from your locker ...Sprints content is stale in my opinion the only thing I purchase are the games with my credits . :huh:

Yeah, I get that message to when DL apps. Its just something wrong with the phone related to 3rd parties apps. One of the many 3rd party apps is causing it. I know the size for programs I want and know I have room for it but my phone says it needs 1kb free for it to DL. But doesnt work. Its just 3rd party apps causing problems. To find it, cant answer. I recommend erasing all and put it back in(but even I wont do that), to much trouble. But not 100% sure if thats the problem or not. Just my opinion.

i'd really be interested in getting a ring tone of the first five seconds of "mike's song" by phish.

i've been trying to do it myself for some time now, but for some reason, qualcom's truevoice application just won't download for me (i've tried more than 50 times) and when i "tested" xingsing (or whatever it's called) and clicked on the "go" link in my phone, my phone just continued to say "initiating" forever, so now i'm just gonna ask you to do it for me.

i have a 8khz 16bit mono wav version (85 kb) of the file i want to try and upload which i could email to anyone who could transfer it over to .qcp for me....
