Hi, I have read various forums and have yet to determine if this is possible with the T608. I have an Ipaq 5450. I have paired as a phone and I am able to dialup connect to the internet and send contacts to the phone. I have not been able to dial via bluetooth or transfer other types of data to the phone from the Ipaq. The phone will send data (gifs etc.) to the Ipaq. The Ipaq establishes a connection and send the number to the T608 but the phone does nothing. I have also tried different types of pairing without any luck. The only services the Ipaq sees is dialup, serial 1 and serial 2. If this is indeed possible can someone please provide some specific insights in how to get this to work.
Thanks in advance,
Gecko

I'm wondering the same about my T3. I think the issue is lack of drivers. And with a phone in such limited release, we may be SOL when it comes to expecting drivers to be written.

Where did you find these drivers? Did you pair using a different phone model?

I didn't have to find any drivers, T3 worked out of the box. My 'Connection' called "Sprint Vision" connects to "Phone" via "Bluetooth", device "my t608" (it's paired name), Model "Standard GSM" (speed 115,200 bps, empty init string)
That should do it...

Oh, and of course the "Phone" in prefs is set to use "Sprint Vision" as it's connection...

Thanks for the info. Strange, the IPAQ does not give these options. It allows you to pair and use vision but will not allow you to dial a phone number from its contact entries. I'm not sure if it is a problem with HP bluetooth firmware or the T608's. My guess it is the phone.

Couldn't be the phone... when I'm dialling my t608, it doesn't know if it's talking to a T3, an iPAQ, or a laptop...

I know it's possible on an iPaq, however I have PPC2002, which does not have dial-by bluetooth built in. I was able to download an app (Vitto or Vito dialer I think it was called) that allowed me to do it. It didn't work great, and I didn't have much desire to dial that way anyway, so I removed it when the 15 day trial expired.

Any way to make this work on the LG PM-325?? No settings seem to work... and it's certainly not a "Standard GSM" phone, so that hasn't worked, either. :(

No. To dial a voice call over bluetooth you need OBEX support.

Could you please explain further. My SE T68i worked for this on T-mobile. I believe it used OBEX but I don't understand it.

Since switching to Sprint, I can't find a single phone which does the same thing.
I have been searching for about a month now to get find away to voice call over bluetooth from my PPC 6601. I have my headset connected to my 6601 (windows mobile 2003). I want my PC to dial my 6601. I use the windows phone dialer (Start/Run/"dialer" not for DUN). I can establish a BT connection using the Dialer (serial port Com 9) which lasts for about 10 sec onds and then drops the connection. Maybe OBEX is what I should be using/researching?
Thank you for your help.
