SprintUsers AIM Chat Room

I've setup a chat room here utilizing AOL Instant Messenger. Let's try this out and see what everybody thinks. Fire up your AIM client and click here (http://www.SprintUsers.com/aim). If that doesn't work, try connecting directly to the room called sprintusers - all lower case letters. I'll be visiting every once and a while, my screen name is SU Dave I.

Please post your feedback in this thread. If the chat room gets a lot of use, maybe we'll integrate it into the site in other places.

do u all have AOL Instant Messenger? You may get that error if you dont have the program.

The name of the chat room is sprintusers - all lower case letters. Try connecting to the room manually if the link fails.

The link was working fine for me on Friday now it's not. I don't normally use AOL's AIM client, so can anyone tell me how to manually enter the chat room without using the link? TIA.

Dave, can you post how to find the room manually.....my home pc has 2 screen names and it loads the wrong one....lol

^ Put your sn on your buddy list and highlight it by clicking on it once, then under the dropdown "People" click "Send Chat Invitation." Make sure your SN (screen name) is invited and name the chat "sprintusers." Then just send..

Somethings wrong, I just tried it and it doesn't join the current room-- I'm the only 1 in the chat, but when I click on the link there's 6 people. I put it all in lower case and still nothing, I even tried "SprintUsers". It seems like the only way to get in is through the link. Dave, look into this prob.

Aww, I'm at work doing my tech support thing. Think that makes me a geek too? I pop in every now and then during the day, always seems dead.

there will be a SprintUsers Live chat session tonight around 11/11:30EST. Click on "Aim chat" on top of page and then select "join the conversation"

We discussed this last night in the chatroom :) Hope to some of you guys there

i hav unlimited pcs vision but aim doesnt work properly. i go on yahoo and msn but aim doesnt reconize me s/n..... i could forward my aim 2 txt message but does it cost money like a txt message? i hav the same probablem on my dads phone. (scp5300)
