Imagine upgrading your handset to the newest software without having to walk into your local Sprint Store. A handful of wireless carriers are working towards allowing customers to obtain 'over the air' firmware updates. The OTA Flash Forum announced a special committee that will work to promote the technology to the wireless industry. Unfortunately, there is no mention of Sprint PCS participating.
