SPCS's night/wknd has ALWAYS started on Fridays, 9pm - Mon 7am.
Depending on what is in your plan, your start time may be 7, 8, or 9pm.
Its about time T-M got with the program.

But the article states that TMOs weekends will start Thursday nights not Friday nights. The question being asked is it possible that Sprint would do the same thing.

I think it's a great idea on T-mobile part. You can talk all you want Fri 12:01 am till Sunday midnight. You can subscribe to this plan on their website but contract is required.

If you have unlimited nights and weekends, you will have free calling from 9PM Thursday until 7(I think)AM Monday.

yeah...but what good is that on a GSM which works GREAT in some places...and in other places you stare at your phone while it says.."No Service"

I guess it depends upon which place you live in. I'm sure some areas get great T-mo coverage. Mine doesn't happen to be one (I really gotta change my icon)

The main difference that everyone is missing is that TMO does not have NIGHTS!! What about Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday?? I don't know about you folks, but I am at work on Fridays! My friend's that have TMO are always complaining they go over their minutes and their reception sucks! TMO also has been known to have bizarre "service charges" ?? Regardless- the way they word it is deceiving to those inexperienced mobile users.....
They will get alot of new users, but I would never give up my nights to have an extra day tacked onto my weekend......

I'll tell ya what...it sure would be nice but, to me, I'm not jumping ship over that. Like Deval said, T-Mobile has a lot of spots I know of that have NO SERVICE. Just the other day, I was driving across the state with my T-Mo toting brother in law and everytime I made a call his response was..."you have service here"? What good is anything free if you can't use it??
