Has anyone heard anything about development in the Orlando area?

They have had an office in Winter Park for over a year and have been hiring tech guys and project managers for at least a year. I know clearwire is in Daytona and Jax but cant find anything about Orlando metro. I am excited none the less.

Sorry, I haven't heard anything about new WiMax releases for 2010. I don't think there will be any more cities in 2009.

Yah 2009 is def out. 2010 should be a big year for WiMax everywhere.

It would make sense for Orlando to be one of the next launch cities as it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the US. They already have Las Vegas, so launching in Orlando would be a great.

yeah, and besides orlando... im moving from PA to Tallahassee, FL so put clear there

Assuming additional ground infrastructure isn't required, I would think tally would be soon to follow. Tally is so small they could probably cover it with 5 towers. Orange County on the other hand is 2/3 the size of Rhode Island so it will take a little more work.
