Are you referring to Boost CDMA or iDen. Boost CDMA requires a bit of a workaround unless you're able to get a rep to activate another Sprint phone/PDA. You can tether with the iDen phones, but it's ridiculously painful to use: slower than dial-up and can time out if you're trying to download big files.

I am referring to iden, so it is tether-able? Anywhere I can find a guide on how to do this?

Painfully slow doesn't even scratch the surface. It should be used as a last resort.
