MLB 2009 - Mid-Season

So with only 10 days until the 80th MLB All Star Game in St. Louis, how has your team done thus far?

As a Dodger fan, I am proud that they still have the league leading 51-29 record. And is still the ONLY team in the MLB with 50+ wins.

At the moment, they're not doing so well against San Diego. Behind 4-3 going into the bottom of the 8th and the Padres blew the game open scoring 3 more runs on (2) errors on the Dodgers. Hopefully the Dodgers can rally in the 9th and take the second game from SD. I guess time will tell.

Dream season so far for us Dodger fans. Let's hope it doesn't turn into a nightmare!

Well, we scored in the Top of the 9th, but fell short as SD's closer Bell did his job. The score was 7-4 FINAL. So now the Dodgers are 51-30 (Still best in the MLB).

But the focus will be on the All Star game to see how the NL fairs against the AL's best.

Yanks are 1 game behind the Red Sox, and have the 3rd best record in the MLB. Not too bad considering they had a lot of players injured for the beginning of the season. They've always been a strong second half team, so we'll see how they do after the All Star game. :)

Astros are still 3 under .500 and 4 out of the NL Central. Not as bad as I thought they would be!
