Will wimax support voice and data usage at the same time?
Ex: Talking on the phone while using the internet or sending mms while on the phone?

Wimax is a data technology, voice on Wimax will be VOIP which should support simultaneous data/voice, but it all depends on how it is deployed and handset capabilities. Early Wimax handsets might use Wimax for data only and route voice through the CDMA network. Presumably that would allow simultaneous data/voice but I don't think we know for sure yet.

I have a treo700wx in the hotness sprint network and I can send/receive text msg while on a phone call. If you don't believe it then u must try it :)
I can't browse the web while talking but it would make no sense to browse the web while talking lol

ya yo i think all phones can send txt messages while talking but still using the web while talking is a huge plus for me because i tend to need it but cant use it or i cant use Google maps while on the phone which requires data connection.

yeah you are 100% correct on that one. The other choice is install tom tom navigation or any other gps application that doesn't need an internet connection.
