I currently have 2 lines with nextel, I've had service for about 3 years or so, I'm allowed 5 more lines, that's pretty good because I know about 4 years ago I couldn't get a line without a 500$ deposit until sero came around than I got zero depsoit on every line I got, I love this! heh What is everyone else allowed? and how long have you been a customer?

Been with sprint since 1998 - Last I checked I was approved for 5 lines. That was when I added my data card a year and a half ago.

I have 3 phones (2 are mine one is my BF's) and a data card currently.

I'm currently allowed 3 lines, but my ASL comes off my account in June. Does this mean I can get another line when it comes off?

I have really been a customer for 7 years and my old account have 10 lines however they closed my account in error forcing my migration to ensemble Now I can have 5 lines. My account shows I have only been a customer 1 year last December. Never missed or been late on one payment and my credit score is higher now than before...no problem for me because if Sprint doesnt have the bb tour by Sept 13 I will be an att customer anyway. I currently have 4 lines.

Been a customer since '05 and never needed a deposit. I haven't checked in a while, but I was good for 6 lines. I only use one currently, most I used was 3.

Sprint customer since November 1997
Approved for 10 lines
I have 3 lines currently.
Tried to add another line last year on my F&C plan but was unable to add to it - limitation of the plan rather than the amount of lines I qualify for.

My credit is not the greatest right now, so I am only aloud 2 lines with $100 deposit.

Account Spending Limit - basically, its like a credit limit with a credit card.

Go over the limit and your service gets shut off. To turn service back on, you must make a payment, even if no payment is due.

Account Spending Limit. If you are approved for 5+ lines you generally dont have one. If you are approved for less than 5 mines, sprint started most people off with a spending limit that they removed after say a year of good payment history under the new credit system.

The best credit ratings can bill phones to their accounts

When I started with Sptint, I had a deposit so I didn't qualify for additional lines, then a year later 3 lines, 2 years after that 5 lines, the last time I checked it was 7! Now I have no idea, but there are not 7 people I trust enough to put on my account... Been there done that, got stuck with the bill! Never doing it again!

Well I don't believe so I think I asked one time and they told me they base it on your payment history, usage, how many lines you currently have or had, and possibly your credit score..

I had a spending limit the first year of my account, of $150 now I don't have one, so I'm good I've had my bill as high as $500 without them *****ing hehe.

Thanks for the response Ryan. I know the ASL comes off but didn't know if it would automatically qualify me for additional lines or not, I have 2 lines and an air card and that's enough for me now, but I saw this post and it got me to wondering.
