Hi, long time reader, first time poster.
I've had sprint for about 10 years now. At my job all my buddies have nextel phones I would love to be able to "chirp" with them back and forth but can't with the phone & plan I have. Now the question, I am due for an upgrade and I was wondering if I could upgrade to a phone like the BlackBerry 8350i and just add dc to my current bill or would I have to switch my service to a Nextel plan with that particular phone or any ptt phone? Thanks in advance!

As of right now all lines in a fam plan are $10 each, no family bundle or discount

Wirelessly posted (BLACKBERRY 8350i: BlackBerry8350i/4.6.1.204 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/103)
I think you'd have to switch plans. And you would have to pay 129.99 a month for the 1500 min. That's what I am stuck with. And you would still have to pay an additional 10 for dc. I don't think you could keep the same plan.

It would be only $10 for PPT on a reg phone, what the other poster iis or i hope talking about is that you want a Black Berry..

Next month DC will be $5 per line on fam plans and for the talk plans that don't have it in thier plans. Account Services set me up for it next month because I didn't want a pro-rated charges on top of my regular fee seeing that I'm 2 weeks into my billing cycle
