My wife and I are out of contract on an older $69/month plan with an added line for $9 with $5 text package on the first line. We have never upgraded our phones, so we have $150 credit on each line. We both have work phones (we are permitted to use them) that we use 80% of the time and use our phones at night and for long distance.
Since the beginning of our plan, my wife has tried on three occasions to get the caller ID name changed on the second line. Currently, when I make a call it shows up as her name, instead of mine. It has not been a big deal in the past, but recently it has become a pain. Sprint has promised on three occasions to fix it and it never has been corrected. Also, my wife has tried to add the 15% savings from her employer, but it has not been reflected on our account and it has been three months. So, we are not very happy.
We plan on calling retention to see if we can get a better plan, phones and added apps. The $50 1000 plan sounds great. My question is what is the best way to proceed. Should we upgrade phones first? Get a new plan first? Or, just try to do it all at the same time. We just don't want to lose out on upgrade credits, phone credits or any additional savings. Any advice will be appreciated.
