I see there is a $50-1000 minute shared plan but I need a share plan with 2000 minutes. Is retentions offering anything close to that anymore?

There used to be Free & Clear plans that were $100/2000 and $100/2500. However I bet they are no longer offered.

Don't think something like that is offered at the moment, sorry!

I would get the 1000 shared for $50 then get bonus minutes added.

I have that plan w/ 760 bonus

How do you get the 1000 shared minutes for $50?

I was offered by retentions the F&C 2000 for $79.99 almost a year ago. I am on this plan currently, but was told it is no longer offered. This is a shared plan.

I've got the old (2003) 2000/$100 which includes unlimited data/picture/video/etc. Back in the day, picture mail was part of vision, and vision was included for all lines on the plan. It's great to have a grandfathered plan.

Only downside was that I couldn't upgrade to an instinct because of the SEP requirement. Oh well, I only wanted it for the New Toy factor anyway.

On top of the plan, I have a 24% employee discount so it works out well. Sprint calls me every now and again with new offers. I told them to beat what I have and I'll sign up. Some of them have just hung up when I said that.

Yes, I have the same plan from when it was (gasp!) $85 - 2 lines with shared 2000 AT minutes but without NW minutes. In other words, I have one of the original plans from the Vision launch Even though I pay an extra $5/month for roaming and $5/month for picture-mail on the second line (a screw-up with a billing-system transition a few years ago meant the free vision on the second line disappeared), but it is still impossible to find a comparable plan with data on two lines for $95/month, at least I think so!

I'd be fine with only 1000AT minutes for two lines if I had 7pm NW minutes included, but the catch is the data.

CDH,

I had a problem when I changed the number on my second line and they screwed up the vision thing for that line. I had to call support about 5 times until I got somebody that could fix it, but I was able to get it corrected. You might not be out of luck, but you do have to play customer service roulette a few times to get it right.

That is interesting, but back when it happened I didn't have the time or patience to do that. A couple of years on, I'm sure they won't do anything about it. Though it would be nice to save the extra $5/month, I'm pretty much over it given that the rate plan is still very good.

I'm probably about to go through upgrading phones again (current Qs are over 2 years old), and am not looking forward to the rigmarole of dealing with CSRs who tell me that I can't keep my existing plan. I understand that the Instinct and (probably) Pre won't be permitted on my current plan, but I'm hoping the Treo Pro will be allowed.

But I'm pushing the thread off-topic...

No luck so far to the OP, though I too would be curious about newer family retention plans with over 1000 minutes *and* including data.
