Getting data/text added to an expiring plan (or new plan advice)?

Backstory: Nice lady at work has an old Power Pack 900 plan. $59.99 for 900 anytime min, unl n/w, m2m, blah blah blah. No data and no text messaging. Plan expires the first week of June.

She was asking me for advice on her plan as she was considering moving to Verizon because the 2 people she calls the most have Verizon and it would be free to call them. We looked up her account and 480 minutes last month were used to call those 2 numbers.

She wants to get the Rant or the Lotus and wants to get text messaging and internet access on it for google maps and texting her daughter.

I told her I'd poke around and see what I could come up with, but she'd probably be better off staying with Sprint instead of porting to Verizon.

Without bothering with Account Services and trying to get a retention plan, the best I could come up with was the Everything Data 450 and asking for Pick 3 to be added for free, but that would raise her monthly bill by $10.

The alternative would be the Everything Referral Plus 500 for $59.99 and still asking for Pick 3 to be added. Same monthly price that way.

The last option is to just have her call *2 but I'm not sure if she wants to deal with that or not.

Unfortunately, doing anything but a "simply everything!" plan is going to cause her an incredible amount of grief. Sprint is so confident right now about the wisdom of their plans that if you don't buy into it, you are just SOL

Let her go get a verizon plan for $5-10 more dollars a month and blow her brains out with the 80 million peeps she can call for free. Its damn annoying that they won't even indulge their shrinking m2m base with free pick 3 without a fight

I was able to have pick 3 added to my account without a problem, I just called and told me my friend has it on his account and I would like it added on mine also and they did it. Its not to big of a hassle and is def worth it, now i can call my house and 2 other numbers as much as I want!!!!
