Lord, Have I Had Many Problems With The ic902!! To Start Off, The Music Player Is Dog-Slow And Has Errors Galore, Including Not Being Able To Load Random Songs. Sometimes The Phone Will Reset On You Out Of The Blue; I Was Told That This Is Normal To Happen When The Phone Is Doing Too Much Multi tasking, Although It Does This With The Simplest Of Functions, i.e. Viewing Album Pictures. Sadly Enough, This Is Just The 'Tip Of The Iceberg'...With Normal Every Day Use, The 'Standard' Battery Just Wasn't 'Cutting It'-I Had To Go Out And Buy The 'Extended Life' Battery For My Brother And I, Then His Phone 'Bust Out' Only After Three Months: After Charging It While Turned Off Overnight, The Next Morning He Tried Turning It On, Only To Find That It Would Never Go Past The Motorola Logo, It Would Just Keep 'Recycling' The Logo Over And Over Again, And You Couldn't Even Turn It Off! (The Only Way To Turn It Off Was To Pull The Battery Out.) Long Story Short, Which Is Impossible By Now, I Took It To The Repair Center And They Couldn't Fix It-Claimed That The Motherboard Was 'Fried'. (He Never Dropped It, By The Way.) We Shipped It To Motorola And The Gave Him A New One Back In Two Days. (Thanks For Your Endurance, Those Of You That Have Read Thus Far. There Is Much More To Go, So Thank You If You Continue To Read My 'Long-Winded' Ranting Past This Point! -LOL-) Ok, Now My Phone; My Phone Did The Same As My Brother's Eight Months Later! Good Bloody Lord!! What's Even Worse Is That It Took A Whole Month And Many Phone Calls To Motorola To Finally Get It Back, And When I Did, It Came Back Worse Than When I Sent It! They Only Replaced The Front Shell, And Sent It With The Antenna Cracked In Two Spots And Loose Enough To Unscrew Off Of The Phone And A Hairline Crack In The Back Of The Phone!! Ain't That A Kick In The Head!? Now Because Of The Antenna Deal, I Can't Get A Walkie-Talkie Signal In The Backroon At Work When I Could Before, And It Takes Over Five Minutes To Get The Talkie Signal Outside! Yeesh! Inbetween That Fiasco We Were Trying To Replace Both Of Our Battery Doors, Due To The Snapping Metal Button From A Motorola Authorized Leather Form-Fit Case That Dented In Both Of The Doors-My Brother's So Much So, That His Motorola Logo Came Off! That Took A Whole Month Of Calls And Re-Shipping Them Back The Incorrect Standard Battery Doors Not Once But TWICE, Come To Find Out That They Never Had The Correct Extended Life Battery Doors To Begin With! If It Doesn't Surprise You, There's More. Having Gotten Sirius Satellite Radio On My Phone Since The First Month, And Subsequently Enjoying The Service For 11 Months, That Quit Working On Me Indefinitely; I Tried Doing Everything But The 'Funky Chicken' To Fix It, And Even That Didn't Work! (Sorry To Disappoint, [Big LOL] But I've Finally Come To The End Of My Ventings/Rantings! If You've Made It To The End Without Clicking To The Next Thread, Then You Have The 'Patience Of Job' And I Thank You For Your Time! Just Wondering If Anyone Else Was Going Through These Same Problems, If They Happen To Have The Same Phone. Thanks For Your Input, If Any, And A Fun-Filled Weekend To All! <47-able, Over And Out>

Wow! That was a mouth full :p

My last phone was the ic902 and I was actually pretty happy with it. The only thing I didn't really care for on that phone was the battery life of the standard battery. I went and got the extended battery, and it really helped. Also, I would get the random reboots, but not that frequent (maybe once a month). I think it sounds like you just got a really bad phone. If you have TEP or ESRP I would go back to a service center and be a bit stern about getting a phone swap instead of them epically failing at "repairing" the phone.

I remember when I had an i870, I had it swapped out 3x before I got a WORKING phone LOL! Thank goodness for ESRP.
