Hey,
I currently have 8 lines on a F&C plan. I'd like to keep the plan, and keep everything on Sprint with the ability to add 2 lines to the calling plan. I have the proper SOC codes, However the reps won't add the lines for me.
FC2065A1 $0.00 Adsub
FC2065A2 $7.99 Adsub
FC2065A4 is the $20.00

Yeah. They are trying to force people off of expired plans to new ones by not letting them add more lines on their family plans...I'm in the same boat.

Wirelessly posted (Palm Centro: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; PalmSource/Palm-D062; Blazer/4.5) 16;320x320)
Me too. On an unrelated matter, I verified with ES that my 3rd add a line would be $10 & 4th $20. There seems no method to their madness as far as pricing & the rep said there's no guarantee u would be able to add a line soon in the future...

I guess I'll just cancel those 2 new lines and stay @ verizon

Tell them that and see what they say.

I have told them that, and it didn't make a difference.

The FC2065A1 SOC is that a code for all free and clear plans or just that plan that you on. I have free and clear $50 - 1000 shared between 2 phones and I want to add another line.

That is based on his base plan code...all you need to do to make it the one for your plan is put in substitute your base code for the FCxxxx and then add an A1 after it or basically your base plan code and add A1 eqauls your first aap line and I do believe the line after that would be A2 and then A3 and so on.

And my base plan then is the F&C Unlimited which is why FC2065 and all it's A's won't work.
A1 is free, A2 is $20.00, and A4 is 7.99 A3 is 9.99 as those line codes have been completely removed from the system.
The way I'm understanding it now, is you have to type the plan code you want, click search, click on the link to apply it to the plans. I wish I remembered how to do that website URL hack, and if it still worked.

Well, once you actually get connected with retention to cancel your lines, chances are they will end up giving you what you want. I've seen much crazier things happen with retention. That being said, if they don't, then off to verizon you go....buy one storm and get another free....That's a good offer.

Well, the SMS Text for free doesn't work anymore, So I had to use the SMS750 code, but free blackberry does work, So I added that to 2 of my blackberries of the 3 I have.

I have Free & Clear plans, Which basiclly ARE voice only. I also have on most lines free text anyway. I am actually paying for 1 of the lines of use on the blackberry because I do use navagation enough to make it worth while, Plus with 27% off corporately, who cares, it'll be pretty cheap anyway

Retentions could not get that plan code to go in place. period, they tried for hours, got numerous supervisors involved. Tried the only Nextel account modifications department that have more powers than the CEO's admin! Nota.
That plan is gone for adding new lines.
As for Verizon. I have 2 storms for free anyway. I was going to cancel and sell them and bring everything to Sprint.
Before you ask, 1 storm was provided to me as a gift from my VZW corporate rep to get our business account from AT&T to Verizon. Then I got a text message from Verizon telling me that retroactively I was eligible for a free storm because I was a storm owner, So I went and got it, reverted back to a dumb phone. Had it unlocked, and will be selling it at some point.
