Hey Everyone
My family is on the $40 family plan.
My parents are waiting one more year to add a line for my sister but I think we should add it now cause i am afraid sprint will pull the $40 plan soon.
What does everyone think? Should we add it now so that we can add it before it gets pulled?
What is the best way to add one more line?
I am not sure if you can do it through sales but I am thinking you have to call retention.
Any tips anyone on the best way to add this line?

imo, I would do it right now. Why wait for something when you can do it right now..

Seconded. You might even be locked out of adding another line right now. The sooner the better.

Any more details on this plan? I assume it's $40 for the first line, then $20 for each AAP?

I'd switch to this in a heartbeat if:

A) There would be no risk of anything else changing

B) I wasn't semi-serious about switching to a "Pre compatible" plan.

Ok I did a search for this plan before creating a new thread. Saw that this one was out there. Do any of you with this plan know the plan code for it? If so , please send it to me so I can see if its still attainable.

HAmAnWho - Do you know how many total lines you are allowed to have on your plan? Is it capped at 5 or can you take it all the way to 10 if you want?

when i was on p2k, i was allowed 10. I currently have 7 right now on ensemble and have not tried adding anymore so I am not sure if i can add 3 more.

How much is your AAP after your first one?

second aap is $0, 5 other app's are $10 with a $10 credit

long story short:
had the $60/1200 plan with all my aap's showing as $0/mo. after getting switched to ensmble, i also wanted less minutes and was offered $40/1000. In ensemble, the $0code for the aap's would not take so that is where the credits were applied.

Has anyone from Sprint ever tried to talk you into switching into one of their new Simply Everything plans?

by selling your soul. Sprint is phasing out the Free and Clear plans so they don't even show in the system at all anymore. BUT if you want to try call Account Services, they appear to be the only ones who can do this now. Also if you can get your main line switched make sure the rest are sharing minutes from it...that's been the biggest problem with this plan.

Agreed, and with them now sending email confirmations of most phone conversations make sure you get the info in writing for your records.

It was hard enough trying to get on the $50 Free & Clear Family plan, I could just imagine trying to get on the $40 plan. Good luck! :tu:

How do I get to Account services? Just call the regular sprint number for customer service?

I am working on getting a list of all the Free and Clear plans and plan codes, but since it requires a little bit more to "find" them than most reps have access to, it isnt as easy lol.

Yeah and even when armed with these plan codes it still will be a hassle to get a rep to actually add them on to your current account for most users.

But it will help ease the problem of them having to find the code, no doubt about that.

I think I will stick with my $50 plan as I do not want anymore billing errors until the Pre comes out.

Coal, are the FC2206, FC2228, or FC2245 sales expired (sure they are) but more so are they able to be added by reps or are they deleted out the system?

Every Free and Clear is sales expired.

Reps can still put you on the plan though.

What is the phrase...honored but not offered?

Well it only says that on the SERO plans, not the F & C plans.

SERO is technically still doable.

Yeah but you have to get it added as an add-on since it's not built into the base plan.

How do you get on this plan? I am really paying through the nose if this is what you get. I am paying $69.99 for two lines, 750 minutes, no texting and 7pm nights! Thanks!

You have to find the right rep to add it for you. just don't give up if a rep tells you he/she can't.

I started on the $40 1000 minute plan but one day out of nowhere it became the $50 1000 minute plan.I've asked about this change & why it was raised but I have Never received an answer. so to this day one & a half years later i'm still paying $50 for my 1000 minute plan. Oh there's more i can say in regards to my plan, like i'm supposed to be over $550 to the negative but they have taken it from me & only have me listed as $70 & change to the negative. I am now classified as a special case & i'm worried as to what they will do to me now.

The $40 1000 minute plan was originally offered as a retention offer for individuals. They offer a $50 1000 minute plan that's shared between 2 phones. I am confused by the -550 neg. and what do you mean your classified as a special case?

I believe they're talking about account credits. Their account might have been forwarded to a "review" dept.

Learned this last night concerning the special case. You see I have proof that no money should have been charged against me & the amount that they owe me they're saying no so they ha e a special dept. to work on it I'm supposed to get a call tonight.

To blaspheme in saying you have a $550 credit makes me ask "do you work for Sprint?" I do this to Prov e that what I say & do is true & honest. I keep the money I can afford in my account to save for new products or future phones. You? Now I was to hav e receiv ed a phone call last night but didn't. I'm on 100% disability & fell asleep in my chair with my phone in my lap. Again another sstory told to me by Sprint. PS. regarding the $550 credit well according to Sprint they're are saying no & I have written & verifyab le proof that I Do. YOU? This is a big problem In America & reason why so many are not working.
