Except he/she has the SE plan for 99.99 and you cannot apply discounts to that plan. Many have tried.

I have the Simply Everything Unlimited Individual Plan and I am getting 30% off (costing me $69.99) along with another plan, the 450 Messaging Everything Individual Plan and I get 30% off that plan as well (costing me $34).

Edited to add:
When I converted from Nextel iDEN on the i880 from another plan to Sprint CDMA on the V950 with the SE plan, my discount still carried over. I know it shouldn't be on the SE and I even inquired about it at the time I switched over and Customer Care said that is how my account is set up. So I said, okay and thanks! :D

You would need to call Sprint and ask for the customer accounts dept.

Edited to add:
.... and they will take your employer's info down to see if you qualify or not. You will need your employee number.

you can visit a site called http://www.evpdiscount.com and put in your email and someone emails you back with your own employee site to visit.

the way it works is like for, say University of Auburn, it's www.evpdiscount.com/Auburn. For DuPont it's www.evpdiscount.com/DuPont.

you can pay 19.99 to have someone apply it for you or fill out a free online form that emails you the corporate code...then you call it in yourself

not all companies all listed even if they get a discount, but I have found that if you email the info@evpdiscount.com someone usually replies with an answer.
