Well, not all areas in the "D" are bad. The posting lists the location as Gross Pointe which is a fairly upscale suburb near Detroit. As far as getting robbed if someone is stupid enough to believe this, not to sound harsh, but they are probably stupid enough to not suggest a public place to make transaction. This is all speculation though.

It just seems unlikely that someone is able to snag a Pre before the release date is even announced, and sell it on Craigslist. Maybe it's me being jaded from living in a major city, but, I really see this as someone setting up a robbery anonymously via the internet. It doesn't take a genius to see that the Pre is a desired item.

No offense taken. I've been to the south side of Chicago and it's not that bad. I worked at Midway Airport for nearly a year. I just posted the link because I found it funny that the phone is a few months away from being released officially and yet someone's trying to pass this off. Whether or not they're trying to set someone up for robbery I don't know, either way it's fishy.

P.S. - Like the quote from Princess Bride. That was a great movie and highly underrated imo.
