The economy didn't kill the foleo, the fact that it was useless is what killed it. The Pre doesn't even look like it came from the same company as the foleo. The current economic state will affect sales a little bit, but I still think it will be very successful! Go Pre!

You mean, will new leadership come into Palm and basically announce that they are dropping all other major projects to focus on one killer product? That's how the Pre got here. The Foleo got Pre-empted. The Pre itself is not likely to get Pre-empted.

The Foleo was an accessory to a phone that wasn't really needed. The Pre, on the other hand, is a smart phone that doesn't really need to attach to another device to make it work.
