[Pre] Slingbox Compatibility

I have a mogul right now...love it, but the wm quirks are starting to be a bit much for me..i'd be nice to have a phone that jst does what it is suppose to do right out of the box w/o downloading a fix.

sorry, thats my little rant.....i wanted to know if anyone knows if the slingbox mobile with be compatible with the pre? looks like a great phone that does everything..........i just have 2 requirements

1)slingbox compatible
2)able to tether to my laptop internet w/o incurred charges :-)

if anyone knows anything let me know

This is a MUST HAVE app for me. I've had the BBCurve since 5/08 & they STILL havent released a version for the 8330. I really hope they dont skip the Pre like theyve been doing to the BB. They just released a mobile version for them but ONLY for the GSM versions.

I have Sling on my Treo 700p and I can't imagine being without it.
I bet they'll have a player for the Pre someday.
But if Palm gets Flash working on the Pre's browser, you could possibly use the sling.com portal to watch your Slingbox.

if you want the sling and cant wait atleast a year do not get the pre. Theres no effort to create sling for the pre at this time and they will judge the market and being a beta tester for the Palm Sling it took over a year for that to be made , look hjow long tis taken for Iphones version. Again Im sure that one day there will be a sling BUT you may be waiting a year plus. They havent even had the time to start the android version yet.
