Ok I don't know what's wrong with the phone now but ever since one day that I recorded a lot of videos and took a lot of pictures, whenever I try to send a picture when it goes to select it from the microsd card the phone restarts on its own. Even if I just try to go into my albums when I select microsd it opens and before it shows anything the phone restarts and then I get a message saying that the phone did not shut down properly and to restart it holding down the end key. I've tried deleting the new videos and pictures that I took that day through file manager but it still doesn't work. I can still take and record videos but if I try to view them or send them then it restarts. It doesn't do it if I save them to the phone, only to the MicroSD card. Please help :indiff:

Try these two things. First take out the memory card from the phone. Turn off the phone, pull battery out. Reverse procedure and turn phone back on without the card in it. Next put the card into your PC's card reader. You may have to get an external card reader if your PC does have one built in. Run a anti virual program on your card if any buggies are on it like a worm should show up. If it comes up clean then I would suggest you take the phone to a Sprint store. Good luck.

The reason I am suggesting this procedure is, there is a worm out there that is a pain for devices.

The problem is that Downadup, which as of last week had infected nearly 9 million PCs worldwide, tries to spread using USB-based devices, typically flash drives. The worm creates an autorun.inf file at the root directory of any USB-based device it finds connected to the infected machine. Then, when that device is later connected to an uninfected computer, the autorun.inf file copies the worm to the machine without any action on the part of the user or the user even knowing.

Oh I don't have a card reader, I've never taken the microsd card out but I tried restarting the phone with it out, taking the battery out and the same thing happens. This started happening sometime in early december of last year, way before that worm came out. Guess I'll have to take it to a sprint store. :(
