Katana Eclipse X

Whats the general consensus on this phone? It's definitely a good looking phone. How is call/voice quality?

I currently have the m520 slider and the quality is amazing but my screen has gone through hell over the past 11 months and I'm looking to upgrade and a Silver Eclipse X looks amazing, just hard to fine.

My m520 battery life is by far the best I've ever had on any phone, even more so than my PM-8200 which I still have.

Opinions? Pros and cons?

Sanyos in general are great phones. My only complaint with the brand is Kyocera which owns the brand now and does not offer driver support for phones thru the website like Nokia, Samsung, Motorola does.

Is the voice quality of the person you are talking to pretty good and legible? Thats my main concern. I loved my PM-8200 but I couldn't hardly tell what people were saying.

Some Sanyos, not all mind you, did have bad speakers for the ear piece. I can only speak for what Sanyos I had owned the 4900, 8100, 5150, 5300, 5500, 5600 all of them had excellent ear piece sound. My daughter has had the 8200, 8300, now the 8400 and loves the sound quality. Unfortunately you can get a bad handset at times but overall Sanyos have been great in the sound dept. Do take note also everyones hearing is different what my sound great to me may sound like crap to you. ;)

I've got a silver eclipse x that should be here in a day or two. Looking forward to getting it activated :music:
