Good news: the DLX is free to new subs or those with $150 upgrade credits. This is online only, Telesales apparently doesn't have it. This is WITHOUT any rebate!

Bad news: if you're a guy, the only color available is pink. At least it's a metallic pink.

I'm a straight guy but I can't argue with free for a phone that was $99 a week ago (and needing a rebate to get to that price) and $299 originally. Also, I'm going to be a Sanyo diehard right to the bitter end. So, I'll carry my pink phone proudly! Or, maybe I can find a good skin that will cover it completely. :)

Now I begin to prepare myself for the ordeal of trying to activate it. I have Vision Sero and this is an EVDO phone but I'm obviously not going to give up my SERO.

Free is very definitely a good price. I just got the black Katana Eclipse X last week. I ordered it online on Saturday night and I had it Monday afternoon. They shipped it UPS overnight. Free. I activated it using the online chat gizmo. It worked without a hitch. :tu:

The DLX is going bye bye.

Sprint is doing a fire sale to get rid of remaining stock of DLXs.

You can see from Sanyo's site the DLX is old news.
