I currently live in illinois on the border of Wisconsin. Chicago and Milwaukee are both around 60 miles away. Will I be able to extend my coverage via an antenna to receive XOHM coverage? I'm currently under a data plan and gaming on it is rather slow for games like 'Gears of War 2'.

I live in Milwaukee and doubt Wimax is available even if it is available in Chicago.

Unfortunately, you can't use an antenna to expand XOHM coverage to your area. The antenna does not amplify or improve the signal reception ability of the modem. When you plug in the external antenna you are by passing the internal antenna in favor of an external antenna. The antenna helps more to remedy coverage issues inside XOHM's reach, but not to stretch the XOHM coverage area.
