as of Thursday night, i noticed i cannot access/find powweb.com using a sprint data card and 3 sprint fones.

not that im aware of but for your data card at least you can always set your dns to open dns using

208.67.222.222 primary
208.67.220.220 secondary

btw i noticed u r in the east bay too! do u have ur dns's set to open dns? if not, let me know if u can access powweb.com.

if i get a chance ill try to tether my m540 and try the open dns on it and see if i can access powweb

Based on the results of two network trraceroutes I did from two different parts of the country, it looks like powweb.com is a Cogent customer.

If their only net connection is through Cogent (and perhaps even if it's just their primary,depending on how nastily Sprint is playing with their depeering of Cogent), you will not be able to reach them from Sprint's Internet network.

I just called POWWEB and they confirmed this issue.
