is picture mail and texting the same?

so i started thinking that they said my plan includes unlimited picture mail .. but i pay for 300 texts - so when i send and receive picture mail, that should not be using my text messages , right ... or does the message they include or i reply use the text part??

is confused on that .. thanks all!

they are 2 seperate things you can send a text only picture mail and it wont count against your sms count or text and pics either way it will not count against your sms count

well, i just talked to 2 chat agents (haha a joke)

the message saying i have picture mail, uses my texts, and the reply uses my text - picture mail just lets me view it without data charges ... so i asked if i did not have a text plan, and i just had a dataplan with unlimited picture mail, then i have to pay for all the text notifications? she said "i dont know" and "Have i answered all your questions blah blah blah" ... i just closed the chat window at that point :|


the 2nd agent insisted my pin was wrong ( which it was not ) and said she couldnt not answer questions about services unless i gave my pin ... i told her i didnt want any account information, i wanted a question answered on a service sprint provides - she said something about a text or email coming verifying my pin - - i also disconnected her!
