Lately I have been seeing that I need a phone more and more, but before I ask my mom for what I want I would like to know the best way to do it for the cheapest because I might end up paying for it. I want her to open a third line for me. I want the Samsung Rant (which I will pay for) and unlimited text messaging.

Currently on the Plan:
Free and Clear plan w/ 2 lines and 1 of them has 1000 free texts which costs a total of ~$60 a month.

How much would it cost to get the phone and fees and how much would it cost per month. And is there any way I can get free unlimited texts?

Have the account holder call and have him/er sound REALLY indecisive when speaking to telesales about the 2 yr contract on a new line and the price on the phone, test the agent a bit and check his/her response and go further as you see fit... Basically, it's doing business =P

Okay so my mom talked to them and they said that they would be able to open a 3rd line for $15 a mo and $7 unlimited txts per mo, but they said you would have to go into the store/kiosk to get prices on the phone. Is this a good deal or is it normally given like this?

No , that's really weird... when a customer speaks with telesales, they will do ANYTHING to close the sale, they get commisions on how much they sell so it's just understandable... No way a telesales agent will tell you "sure, go to the store where you can find better prices than what I can offer you, that way the store will get more commision than me =)"

So my guess is,. your mom wasn't speaking with telesales... just regular customer care or something like that. If you want to get it from a store, you can also do that... but... you may not get the additional service credits... Besides, it's better to fake indecistion over the phone than in person XD
