Hi, I currently have the Power Pack Family 1000 for $50/month. I'm thinking of upgrading my plan to the next tier. So I wonder how many Power Pack Family plans are there available through retention and what the associated price is? Reading around the forum found me the following but still need more help. So any help will be appreciated.

I assume you can only get these plan through retention:

Power Pack Family 1000 - $50
Power Pack Family 1400 - $???
Power Pack Family 2100 - $???
Power Pack Family ????? - $???

Wow.. 1000 mins would be perfect for me... But alas this is what I was told as of Monday:

Powerpack Family 700 - $69.99
Powerpack Family 1400 - $89.99
I believe there was a Powerpack Family 3000 but didn't catch the price... probably $129.99.

To the best of my knowledge there are no other Power Pack plans available, I believe this for two reasons,

No one on this, or any other board that I know of has ever claimed to have a different Power Pack retention plan.
I have searched many codes in the system and have never seen any other ones.In addition, the retention department has told me that the Power Pack 1000 plan is not available anymore, seems like it was too good of a deal and the codes in the system are expired.

Those are not retention offers, those were the regular offers, the 3000 min plan was $149.99. Those plans are not nearly as good of a deal as the Talk Message plans now as the new plans offer unl. sms/pic. mail free. I don't think these are available anymore either (not that you want them if they are since the new plans are better). The new 700 talk plan is exacly the same as the 700 power pack plan, so no reason for that plan either.

Thanks for the reply, parrott84. I currently have 3 lines on the Power Pack 1000 and I'm only one year into my contract. I'm planning to add one more line but afarid not enough mintues, what do you think the new retention plan would be and how much. I'm asking to have a general idea, not asking for more perks.

Thank you.

there is no other retention plan, if you add another line to that plan, you would have to get regular pricing, sorry, but the codes have really been removed, even at a supervisor level. I mean you are free to try, but to my knowledge that plan can only be added, if removed in error,( and that is a 2-3 day ordeal), you are not supposed to be able to add a new line to a retention plan.

Er, wow. I am interested in finding out how to do this.

Currently I have a 2 year old plan with a few discounts via retentions (was an old Vision user, am a premier member, etc, etc....)

Total: $ 104.98 for
Sprint Fair&flex Family 550, three lines. Two have Sprint Power Vision Plus Pack @ $10, 500 SMS free via retentions.
Third line has unlimited SMS for $15 (via ecare) but no data service

(also have Sprint to home for $0 since I have sprint long distance)

If I could get one of these Powerpack Family packs with the third line added (adds $20?) then I'd basically be shooting for something in the $70-$80 range for the base plan to get slightly more service (unlimited SMS on the first 2 lines, and data/picture mail service on the third line) and probably a few more minutes (minutes are never the problem - we use data/txt more then voice, or mostly call each other) for about the same or even a hair less then I pay now.

This is a corporate (25%) discount line...

Should I call in? I call in and ask for retentions? Can I go through ecare? Do I call the corporate line? Can I ask any more silly questions? What do I ask for? Does anything weird happen with the discounts?

(Ah, here's my question...
Is there a 700 minute or 1000 minute or *any* minute Talk/Message/Data Share for $85 or less, and if so how do I get it?)

Nice plan.

My F&CA plan was nuked from my line (master line on the acct) on Sunday by tech support (of all ppl) - it was piece of work getting it placed back on!

power packs are gone, and as are most if not all of the special plans that retention used to give away, you may be able to sign up for a current plan, and if you are willing to sign up for a year or two, you may get a discount tied to that contract, but retentions is daily losing its power as far as discounts, and special plans.

Ah ok. I was just wondering if the had a lower minute plan - I don't even use 550 minutes, so a 700 minute plan would be more then enough... if it had "everything".

I lost mine this same plan 1000 50.00, and they added everything 450 and 1000 min so know i have 1450 min. and 10/off a month but they coud do it with my 10% off so i took the plan and used my 2 $10 criets I had on it to bring to 50.00

Thank you for confirming this. The Power Pack 1000 plan was offered to me almost a year ago so I can understand the the promo code has been expired (or removed). I saw in the Tips & Tricks (http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1965335&postcount=2781) section that someone got offered the Power Pack 1000 plan but based on what twosilk & HAmAnWho, this is a huge YMMV with retention.

EDIT: Ops this post has been moved to the Tips & Tricks section from Gerenal Discussion.

Thanks, I tried a few days ago and was offered $50/1000 but then when they tried to they said it was expired.

Well, interesting result for me. ecare was very sorry they didn't have a talk/message/data plan that fit my usage (ie, without way more minutes then we use) but did adjust down the various add-ons
Vision to $5 on both lines that had it, down from $10
unlimited SMS on one line down to 7.50 from $15.

I don't actually think these are "deals" - just the current rates? Or if they are specials, then woohoo. Anyway, cut the bill by $17.50 (less discount, or real savings of 12.2x) - not bad.

Still wish I'd nabbed one of those talk/sms/data share plans. They would have been perfect. Guess I gotta pay closer attention.

Good to hear schettj. $5 for vision isn't too bad.
