Heres the deal, I'm on the old Sero 500 plan that had 9pm nights, within the first 30days ecare gave me the 6pm nights option with a recurring $10 credit. My contract expired a month or two ago and on my most recent bill I noticed the credit stopped. Normally I'd just renew my contract and ask them to put the credit back on but I'm waiting for the touch pro to come out so I can use my sprint new for you discount on that. Is there a way I can get this credit back on before I renew? My guess would be to email ecare and be like "Hey whered that credit go put it back please." But I dont want that to renew my contract because I want to do that with my upgrade. Any suggestions?

ok.. handset upgrade and renew agreement is 2 difft things.. even if you renew your contract now.. you will still be eligible for (the $150 off) upgrade until you really change your phone. so.. if u wish you can call now and renew it and then get the pro when its back.. and they'll apply the $150..
You can ask them to get you the credit back and also get you some service credit (most times $70) to renew your contract for 2 yrs..
But, Here is what I recommend: Since you are missing only 1 credit and maybe paying $10 more.. gamble on it and DO NOT renew your contract now. Because, when the phone comes out, you stand having a better chance of negotiating for the phone better than the market price. You should get your $70 credit for renewal, $150 (or 200) for the upgrade, any mail in rebate.. and any other -service credits, your 6pm nights.. then it'd be a good deal..

that makes sense, i never really understood sprints phone upgrade setup, some people told me that it was reset when you activated a different phone but about six months ago I esn swapped (online) to a mogul and the site still shows me as being $150 eligible. and whats the $70 you speak of? I havn't heard of that before.

I had a 10.00 credit for a free AAP for 6 months of a 24 month contract. It disapperared from this month's bill. I emailed care asking about it. Was advised that Sprint no longer offers monthly credits. I was then given a 180.00 credit on my account ( 18x10.00 ). I won't have to pay a bill thru December.

I had a similar thing happen to my 6pm nights credit. I called Executive Services and they were able to just put the 6pm nights on at $0/mo. They said this way it'll never expire.

Yes, I have unlimited shared night& weekend starting at 6 pm with $0 instead of $10 credit.
And also when you deal with Sprint to put it back with 2 year contract renewal, you can ask them to apply the credit retroactive back to when it was taken out.

"Mail-in rebate requires an Everything plan, Talk/Message/Data Share plan, Data Premier add-on or PRO Pack add-on. Get free shipping and free activation when you purchase a phone with a new line of service online!"

is this just the fine print or has someone actually been denied?

It might be another YMMV.
I recently bought Blackberry Curve 8330, and got approved for Mail-in-rebate.
Actually for new SERO 500 line, I purchased Samsung ACE two months ago, and applied for Mail-in-rebate.
But during 30-day trial period, I changed my mind, so I exchanged it with BB 8330 Curve.
So I did submit two MIR request for same SERO line.
I got the rebate for first Samsung ACE, which they gave me $220.
Then second one for BB8330 Curve was rejected at first, but for some reason, it was approved without me calling them at all.
According to SprintRebates.com, rebate check amount of $130 is on the way to my home.
This misterious approval was happened for last one week.
Actually I upgraded my primary SERO line phone per Sprint "Ghetto" Premier customer status to HTC Touch Diamond by renewing for another two year.
Then sent the Mail-in-Rebate form, so I checked sprintrebates.com to check whether they received it or not, but I found that they approved my previous MIR request, which originally denied.
