I've been a Nextel/Sprint customer for over 5 yrs now. I just purchased a Rumor LG and am loving it. I decided to go ahead and add the data pack for a month and download a bunch of ringtones and wallpapers. I've come across a bunch of apps that I am really liking...my question is that, with the apps, once I turn off the data pack service will I be charged for using the apps? Sorry if this is a ridiculous question but I can't seem to figure out all this web stuff on a cell phone, LOL!

If they use the internet, then yes you will get charged for it. So keeping the data plan would be a must if you continue to use your apps. Which ones are you using if I may ask?

w7excursion13, thanks for the reply. I just downloaded a few little apps, such as a shopping list (I'm a stay at home mom with a million and one lists, lol) and a countdown birthday app and a few of the Tetris games. Nothing big and nothing I HAVE to have, just a few fun things. I really don't spend much time playing on my phone and I do not conduct any business through my phone, so I really have no intention of keeping the data pack. The shopping list would be a wonderful little app to have as I always have my phone with me and I ALWAYS forget my shopping list sitting on the kitchen counter, lol. I do not receive any message that I am connecting to the web when I run these apps so I am unclear on how I would know...they just simply open and start running. Again, sorry to be such a newbie, just curious how these little babies work ;-)
