I remember I used to have a "settings" page for SMS and text messaging where I could block individual #s from sending me messages.

There used to be a "My Online Tools" tab on the main My Sprint page. Under that, there was a "Settings & Preferences" option where you could block individual #s.

Now that tab is no longer there, but I see a link at the bottom right below the Text Messaging box of the My Sprint page that says "Block Text Messages".

When I click on this, it tries to send me to:

http://messaging.sprintpcs.com/textmessaging/settings

but I always get redirected to:

http://messaging.sprintpcs.com/textmessaging/compose

which is the page to compose a text message, not the page to alter the text messaging settings.

No matter how many times I login, sign on, etc. I can't get access to the text messaging settings page anymore.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Mine is redirecting me just fine.
When it redirects you to compose can you click on settings and preferences to the left?

I don't have that option. The only option is "Send a Message"

It also says "Guest User" so I think the system thinks I'm not logged in, but I have logged in and signed on with every link I can see on the various pages.

It is possible there is some login problem preventing the system from thinking I am logged in for the Digital Lounge.

Are you logging in to Digital Lounge in this session or is it possible you have some cookies from past sessions that would allow you to bypass signing on?

I found out what happened. According to tech support there was a server glitch a while back which caused some sprint.com accounts to be only partially setup. These partial accounts will have inconsistent access to online tools depending on which sections were not setup correctly.

They couldn't fix a-la-carte what was wrong with my sprint.com account but told me if I re-registered a new userid at sprint.com it would fix everything, which it did.

SprintUsers.com was created in January 2002 as a resource for users of Sprint PCS products and services to learn about and share information. We have cll phone reviews, Cellular Accessories, Downloads, PDA reviews, Ringtones, all of the latest Sprint PCS news and information, an area where you can find help in creating a ring tone or custom image for you phone, and so much more. The most popular section is the message board where visitors can read and write messages, ask questions, and get advice about their cellular phone from other users.
