I saw the commercial for 2 Rumors for $49 several times last night on TV. Just curious if any existing customers have scored 2 Rumor phones for $49 without having to sign up for more lines.

I just took advantage of this. I hope I made the right choice. Here is how they did it with me:

I was 1 year into my 2yr contract on all 3 of my phones. They gave me my full 2yr $150 rebates. I bought the first phone for $111 and some change, second phone free. Then they gave me a $50 rebate I have to send in. That comes to $49.99 plus some tax. Same deal on the third phone. But since I don't have a 4th line, they gave me the third phone for $111, the $50 rebate, and plus another $25 credit. That makes my third phone come out to something like $25 bucks plus tax.

The main kicker is that now I've got to wait until two years before I get another service credit, unless they come out with another deal. I've still got 27 days to see if I like the rumors. SO far the wife and daughter are happy with them. I like it better than my V9M, but I miss my big beautiful display.

I have only 1 line, and I only want 1 Rumor.. but 2 would be nice because my sister would like a Rumor as well. Neither of us have 2 lines, nor want to open 2 lines. We each have 1 line. I am eligible for $75.

What's the best way to get a Rumor or 2?
