I currently have 300 text messages/month for $5/month. I called in to see if I could get Unlimited Texting for free, but they said the best they could do was $7.50. I decided to pass and try again, but was told Unlimited Texting is not available anymore (I have a single, business account). Furthermore, when I said that I would take the $7.50 for Unlimited, they said there was no record of it and they couldn't give it to me. What they offered instead was $15/month.
Anyone know if:
1. Unlimited Texting for free still is being offered to non-Family accounts?
2. If not, can I get Unlimited Texting for $7.50/month?
Thanks!

1. No
2. Probably not, unless you get a very giving rep. They are cracking down on discounts on people's accounts, so you might have a harder time getting them to give you anything off.

No such animal. I used to have free unlimited on ONLY the base phone of a 5 line plan. Every other phone I had to pay for between 500 and 600 per month. This was an old plan I have no idea if it's even still possible to do that. I would up adding unlimited on all of the other 4 phones at some base rate like 7.50/month per. Which is a pretty good deal for heavy users versus metered use or even worse, substituting a call minute for each message.
It's so difficult to get good deals now. It took me a good 8+ years to get unlimited texting on all of my lines of service.

Unlimited Texting at $7.50 is a good MRC price.
We have the family plan with unlimited everything and it works for us, but it's way more expensive than $7.50 per month.
Just think of it this way, your uping your monthly charge by $2.50 and adding unlimited texting.
If your account wasn't noted and you didn't jump, they probably will stick to their guns and charge you $15.00 a month. Moral of the story if they offer you something great and wonderful, grab it while you can.
