Hi guys.
I intend on getting in on SERO sometime before July 13, their current offer, ends. However, there are a few phones that I am interested in:
Mogul
Touch
Blackberry Curve
and the Samsung SCH-i760 (is there a way to get this for Sprint?)
I see that the Samsung would pretty much be the ultimate pick for me, but it is not available on Sprint AFAIK. Can anyone comment on this?
Mogul - low RAM, old, too thick/big. However, has WiFi, which is important (will explain in a bit)
Touch - no hardware keyboard or WiFi, but has lots of RAM, good looks, and is small
Curve - pretty much a beast. No WiFi, but excellent keyboard. Requires a $30 plan, which I am not getting. Anyone know a way around this for SERO?
Samsung - hardware keyboard, WiFi, pretty small, decent design, but still lacks sufficient RAM.
As far as WiFi, I would love it because I also plan on getting an iPod touch. Using WMWiFiRouter, I would 'tether' to the iPod and more or less have the full web on the road. Think iPhone, but in two devices, a higher entrance cost, and a cool $30 at the end of the month as opposed to $90 @ AT&T (with unlimited texts and tax).
I would prefer a hard keyboard.
I understand lack of RAM can be dealt with by software means. What does this entail?
Thanks guys, love the community here BTW! :)
