Hi everyone. Currently I am getting ready to switch from T-mobile to Sprint because of the Sero Plan and was wondering which phone is better. If anything just a good comparison between both of them. I plan on getting a phone that uses the plan to its fullest potential. Thanks everybody.

i love my centro to death. even went back to after tryin the instinct. the centro is enrty level smartphone with the old palm os which works and is stable but is ugly. treo 800w will be palms first windows mobile 6.1 phone and first to have wifi and gps. i'm gonna upgrade to the 800 when it comes out cuz of the gps, so i'd recommend the 800. but since its not out, its still up for debate. lol it could suck

Yes.

The 800w is the fastest PDA in our lineup, blowing both the Mogul and Touch right out of the water.

It's just the right size, has all the features that we offer, and is the most impressive device I've had the pleasure of using.

So is the Treo 800W out today for business? I really need one today because my 700 wont turn on without being plugged in...also freezes up about 1 or 2 times an hour..it's getting pretty funky

If you're going on a new contract get the 800w through subsidy. If I went to buy one it would be $600.

Just got the 800 tonight - this thing is awesome - I'm upgrading from the 700wx and this blows it away

- SUPER FAST
- GPS maps are an additional subscription - but google maps works flawlessly
- has multiple IM capability - nice and thin (for a smartphone)
- connects to Exchange server well
-WiFi connectivity is easy to do
-Motorola stereo bluetooth headphones connect perfectly without the additional hacks that the 700 required

the stylus is a little flimsy but you can do most things with one hand - or softkeys

-the threaded SMS is a welcome change too

I've had 3 Centro's now & sprnt is telling me the Touch is a better phone. Now I can work the OS but is the Touch a better phone?

Then what? The Centro or the Treo? They are really 2 totally different types of phones. Based on speed and reviews, I'd say that Treo is the better phone. The Centro runs on a different OS, so I don't think it can really be compared.

Sprint looks to be really pushing the touch on their website. Probably because the Diamond will be coming out in 2 weeks and nobody will want the Touch lol. Definately DONT buy the Touch! The Diamond, whose specs are way better, will be out in the near future.
