So far nothing has worked. I have a Sanyo Katana II. I have used UniCDMA, CDMA Workshop, MSLReader, and BitPim. I have been on google forever and ever looking for any mention of a method to get an msl or spc code off my specific phone to no avail. I registered in hopes someone could help me. I know this is probably a topic that doesn't get many answers if at all but if i get even one pm I would be so grateful. Thank you :wavey:

call sprint tech support and ask them for it so you can reset your phone.

I actually have tried contacting tech support - I've already called them like 6 different times today, and have tried calling a couple of stores - everyone keeps telling me they don't have it. Is there anything else I can do or from anywhere else I can get the MSL code??

Thanks!

Sprint doesn't have it? LOL, Unless someone has changed it, Sprint has on file all the MSL codes for every phone they provide. Call again and tell them your phone wont receive any calls (turn the ringer off So it doesn't ring while your talking to them). They will walk you through reprogramming the phone and supply you with the phones MSL to access the phones menus.

If they told you they told have it they are stupid or lying. Call them and tell them you need to reprogram the phone, they will give you the MSL during the reprogramming process.

If your account is on Ensemble, go do an ESN swap and it will tell you the code online.

the op isn't a sprint customer which is why sprint cannot give him the msl.

Guess you had some inside info on that, either way this thread is pointless since both posters trying to get thier MSL refuse to follow our advice to call CS and request a reprograming of the phone for what ever reason.

Apparently neither contacting customer support (which is never helpful anyway) or going in to a sprint store work if you are not a sprint customer.
