I'm just curious as to what the concensus is - will Motorola produce a Q10 and will Sprint offer it? I currently have a Q and really like it a lot. It basically does everything I want it to except I wish at times it was faster and I wish the screen was a little sharper. In January, I will be getting something new. I've been looking at the Touch Diamond, the Raphael, the 800W, plus I already have an iPhone. But the thing is I keep coming back to my Q for my everyday use. Believe it or not, but I actually prefer using Opera Mini on my Q over Safari on the iPhone. I spend a lot of time browsing various message boards and Opera Mini does a better job navigating message boards than Safari does, IMO. I've looked at the Q9 at my local Sprint store, but I hate they increased the size over the Q. If anything I'd prefer even a smaller size. I really like the size of the Touch. Anyway, I'm just wondering does anyone think a Q10 might be forthcoming (like before January)?

A new Q? Maybe. Q10? Doubtful. They went from Q to Q9, so holding to that, the next Q should be a Q18. :)
Okay, seriously.... Before January? No. The 6.1 devices are just dropping. They're going to squeeze every penny out of that possible and then start talking about the Q18 with WM7. Sound like an Infinity commercial......

when I had trouble with my Q9 they accidentally shipped me a old Q, and my wife had one briefly when they came out. yes its a "bit" smaller but not much and its mostly the fat Q9 battery thats bigger, I went with a slim battery at first and was carrying a spare in my pocket, now im back to using the OEM fatboy. I really think the Q9 is so incredibly better than the old Q, my wife has the touch and its cool too but for posting on forums or writing email the Q9's qwerty rocks, if your doing more reading online than writing you might like the sleeker look of the touch but the battery life on the Q9 beats the touch hands down.. and... if you are considering either of those you might consider buying used as they are all over the trade boards and ebay. $200-$250 should put you in either one and I bet you can still move your Q for $100. then you be prepared for whatever comes along next...:tu:

Even after owning the Q for over a year I'm still impressed with the build/sound quality and how thin the phone is. I actually sold my Q when the Q9C came out because I thought I would be happy with it but after having 2 of them get dust under the display after just 2 few weeks I decided to return it. I picked up a Q on Craigslists for nothing which I just got it replaced with a new one because of a minor issue. I really liked the feel of the Q9C keyboard but I type fast with the Q since the keys are more spaced out. I also prefer the smaller size of Q. The Q9c just got 6.1 with threaded text which would be nice but I think I will wait for the 800w. I might actually try the Instinct just for the heck of it. I don't know much about the diamond but I think it might be a little while before we see it. I would love to see a new Q10 be a little more compact, have a missed call light and a great camera.

Just like Formula 409, the World isn't ready for Formula 410 (see the commercial). I wouldn't expect a Q10.
